The City of Bowdon Mayor and Council will be having their regular Work Session on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in Room 132 of the City of Bowdon Municipal Complex, 182 Grammar School Rd., Bowdon, Georgia. The purpose of the work session is to discuss upcoming agenda items, as well as any other issues concerning City business as may be deemed necessary.

A Public Hearing and Public Meeting will be held by the City of Bowdon Planning Commission on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:00PM in Room 132 of the Municipal Complex, 182 Grammar School Road, Bowdon, GA. This hearing is regarding the following:

· Zoning Change Request:

1. The owner of parcel B04 0160016 located at 616 E. College Street wish to have a conditional use approved for the property’s C-1 Commercial zoning.

2. The owner of parcels B03 0020065 and B03 0020070 located at 85 Kids Peace Drive wish to have the zoning changed from C-1 Commercial to M – Industrial.

A Public Hearing and Public Meeting will be held by the City of Bowdon City Council on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 7:00PM in the Council Chambers of the City of Bowdon Municipal Complex, 182 Grammar School Road, Bowdon, Georgia. This hearing is regarding the following:

· Zoning Change Request:

1. The owner of parcel B04 0160016, located at 616 E. College Street, is requesting to receive a conditional use under C-1 Commercial, to allow for the property to be used for assembling cabinets for his cabinet business.

2. The owner of parcels B03 0020065 and B03 0020070, located at 85 Kids Peace Drive, is requesting to have the zoning changed from C-1 Commercial to M – Industrial to be used for fabricating rebar.
