Job Title: Maintenance Worker, Public Works

Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing general labor duties related to streets, water and sewer systems. The work is typically performed outdoors or in a vehicle.

Compensation: $16.50 to $17.00 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid drivers' license is requires.
• Skill in basic mathematics, operating a motor vehicle, dealing with the public and oral and written communication.

Major Duties:

• Reads water meters as necessary.
• Replace damaged water meters.
• Operates chain saw.
• Cuts tree limbs and branches, picks up brush and leaves.
