The City of Bowdon, Georgia population 2,200, with an annual operating budget of $4.2 million and a staff of 27 full-time employees, is seeking candidates for the position of City Manager. This position serves as the chief administrative officer of the City, responsible to the Mayor and a four-member City Council for the administration and daily operations of the City. City functions and services include codes enforcement, police, recreation, library, and a vibrant community/downtown development program. The City also operates water, wastewater, and sanitation utilities.
